How Do You Make Easy, Healthy Woven Wheat Cracker Nachos?
These vegetarian woven wheat cracker nachos make a great snack, and they pack enough of a healthy punch that my teen daughter often eats them for breakfast with no complaints from me. Woven wheat crackers are a healthier alternative to fried tortilla chips. Woven wheat crackers are made with whole grain, and the reduced fat version have only 130 calories per serving. Preheat the oven to the broil setting. Chop the green olives and set aside. Chop up the tomato and set aside. Arrange the woven wheat crackers on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the cheese over the woven wheat crackers. Sprinkle the chopped tomato on top of the shredded cheese. Add the chopped olives on top. The olives give the nachos a kick of tang and saltiness that every who has tasted these raves about. Put in the oven for 30-60 seconds or so; just enough for the cheese to melt. Keep a close eye on them so the cheese doesn’t burn. Remove from oven, transfer to a plate. Allow to cool before eating.
