How Do You Make Easy Hamburger Casserole-A Family Favorite Recipe?
This hamburger and potato casserole recipe has been in my family for a long time and is a family favorite. Quick, easy, and inexpensive to make, it uses only a few ingredients. An added benefit of this recipe is its flexibility. You can add more hamburger, or more potatoes, or even add some left-over vegetables-anything your family likes. Preheat oven to 350°. Spray the casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray. Brown the hamburger and the onion in a saucepan on top of the stove. When the hamburger/onion mixture is done and no pink color remains, use a colander or strainer to drain the fat. While the hamburger and onion are browning, peel the potatoes and slice them about 1/4 inch thick. In a medium-size mixing bowl, using a wire whisk, mix the Cream of Mushroom soup with 1/2 soup can of hot tap water. Mix well until thoroughly blended. Set aside.
