Need a yummy dinner in a hurry. This recipe is very easy and simple to put together. The ingredients are not expensive and the flavor is great. This is great for a “in a pinch” night and no fuss. Learn how to make a great bowl of French Onion Soup. Slice sweet onions into thin rings and then slice the rings in half. Regular onion can be used if you are in a pinch. In large saucepan, melt the butter and then add the onion and cook on medium heat stirring frequently until onions are golden and soft. Add to saucepan the water, beef bullion, Worcestershire, and brown sugar. Heat soup until begins to boil then simmer for 10 minutes. While soup is simmering, slice French bread into 1/2 inch slices then lightly toast in a toaster. Place 1-2 slices in bottom of a bowl, add some mozzarella (as much as you like), ladle soup over, and enjoy.
