How Do You Make Easy, Delicious Corn Dogs?
This is not my shining moment as a cook but everyone loves when I fry up a batch of these and the kids get a kick out of dipping the dogs. So, as every cook knows, sometimes you just gotta give ’em what they want – you might as well make it good. Oh, by the way, the only way you will probably ever have taco flavored corn dogs is to make them yourself. Heat your cooking oil in a deep pot to 360 degrees, or until a drop of water sizzles when dropped into oil. Now, some people like their batter sweetish. For that taste, use Jiffy Cornbread mix, it has a just barely sweet flavor. Otherwise, use a plain cornbread mix. Mix the batter according to the directions on the box (please don’t tell anyone I use cornbread batter out of the box, for ANY thing!) Stir in the season package of your choice (please don’t tell anyone I use packaged seasoning for ANY thing!)
