How Do You Make Easy Cinnamon Rolls?
Breakfast can be made extra special with this easy cinnamon roll recipe. The secret ingredient is a yellow cake mix! DOUGH INGREDIENTS: 1 teaspoon salt 1 box yellow cake mix 2 packages of active dry yeast 2 1/2 cups warm water 4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour FILLING INGREDIENTS: 1 cup packed light brown sugar 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/4 cup melted butter Mix all dough ingredients and knead as you would bread. Cover and let rise in a warm place undisturbed until doubled in size. On a lightly floured surface roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up jelly-roll style. Cut one inch slices and place in greased baking pan. Cover and let rise again in the baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until lightly brown. Remove from oven and set on wire rack to cool. Serve warm. Frost with cream cheese icing if desired.
