0

This easy recipe takes only minutes to whip up. It is perfect for cakes or cookies. And you are likely to already have the ingredients in your kitchen. Best of all, you make make it in chocolate or vanilla. Soften butter (1 Stick), by placing it in a medium/large microwave safe bowl, and microwave on LOW (~30% power) for 15-20 seconds. Add powdered sugar (3 Cups) and Milk (2 tablespoons) to the bowl. With a hand mixer on low setting, mix until blended, increasing speed as mixture blends. Add remaining milk by tablespoon to reach your desired consistency. Add vanilla, and beat until completed incorporated. (Repeat with food coloring if desired.) Frosting is ready to spread, or may be refridgerated (covered) at this point. To spice up your cakes and cookies, try adding 1/2 Cup of crumbled oreos, almonds, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips or shedded coconut to the frosting. Enjoy!
