This recipe is so easy and its very quick to put together. Its great if you have guests coming on short notice or on a weeknight and you don’t have a lot of time to cook. Note: This isn’t an original recipe of mine. It is a Martha Stewart recipe. I just wanted to share. Mix hoisin and honey in a small bowl. Hoisin sauce is available from most grocery stores in the Asian foods isle. It is a very dark, sweet tasting sauce. Place salmon (skin down, if it has skin) in a greased, shallow pan and squeeze the juice of the 1/2 lime over it. Sprinkle as desired with salt and pepper. Cook under the broiler for about 5 minutes. Remove from broiler and brush or drizzle hoisin mixture over the salmon. Place the salmon back in the broiler for another 2-3 minutes. When done, salmon should no longer have that “transparent” look to it and flake easily. Be careful not to overcook the salmon. Serve immediately with rice and any of your favorite Asian side dishes.
