How Do You Make Easter Crafts For Kids?
The celebration of Easter begins with the new life that is present within nature in the spring. Crafts that celebrate Easter and spring are plentiful. With a few basic materials and some ingenuity you can make Easter crafts that are both fun and inspiring. Prepare materials according to the age and skill level of the children you are working with. Older kids may be able to draw their own butterfly, younger ones may enjoy a print-out picture from a website and you can pre-cut butterflies for very young children (see Resources below). Assemble all the materials in one place with enough room for everyone to work. Have the children color their cut-out butterflies on both sides, with bright, patterned wings and a dark body. They may wish to draw a face on one side. Twist two pipe cleaners together and use the ends to poke a small hole in the top of the butterfly’s “head.” Bend the twisted part over so that it will stay fastened. Curl the tops of the pipe cleaners, to look like “antennae.” G
