Go to a fabric or craft store and look at the selection of buttons. Buttons have transformed from bland to sizzling! Did you know that you could make earrings from those gorgeous buttons, too? Here’s how. Using sharp craft scissors, cut off the part that holds the thread on the back of the button. After cutting off the thread holder, the back of the button will be rough. Use the coarse nail file to smooth the surface. When it’s nearly smooth, use a finer grain nail file to make the surface smooth. Take a piece of tin foil and make a loose ball. You’ll be using this to set the button earring on while it dries, so be sure that the ball is not too tightly compacted at this point. Determine where you want to place the earring back on the button. Hold the button up to your ear to see if there’s an area that would be better than another. This is especially important when you’re using large buttons to make earrings. Place the button onto the tin foil ball. Push it in just a bit so that the ti
