How Do You Make Dry Erase Board Cleaner?

0

Wiping your dry erase board clean with a soft cloth or felt eraser isn’t doing the trick. There are several products sold commercially that do a good job, but why not save a little money and make your own dry erase cleaner. Besides making a great dry erase cleaner, you’ll end up with a fantastic general purpose cleaner/degreaser. Scrape the zest (outer layer of the skin) with a citrus zester into a large glass bowl. Mince the zest until it is as fine as you can possibly get. The finer the orange zest is, the more oil it will release. Add 1 pt. of 70% isopropyl alcohol to the orange zest. Allow the mixture to set for two to three days for the oil from the orange zest to be absorbed into the alcohol. Strain the liquid into a pint size trigger sprayer bottle and spray a fine mist on your white board.
