How Do You Make Doughnuts From Refrigerated Biscuit Dough?

0

Who doesn’t like the doughy goodness of a fresh doughnut? The problem is, in order to get them fresh, you have to either wake up at dawn to get to the doughnut shop in time, or make them yourself. If you have ever tried to make homemade doughnuts yourself, you know that the process is quite messy and takes hours. The recipe below only takes minutes to make, but beware, the doughnuts won’t last much longer than that once people start eating them! Cut centers out of biscuits with clean pop bottle lid. Save centers and fry seperately from doughnuts. In a small mixing bowl, mix together powdered sugar and maple syrup until no longer lumpy. Set aside. In heavy pan or deep fryer, fry two to three doughnuts at a time until golden brown; turn and fry second side until golden brown. Remove from oil and place on paper towel to get off excess grease. Immediately dip in maple glaze. Put on serving dish and serve immediately.
