How Do You Make Dough Christmas Tree Ornaments?

0

Wonderful Christmas memories can be easily created by spending time making these adorable ornaments with your family. Mix the flour, water and salt in a large bowl until well combined. Pat the dough into a ball and then roll it out onto well floured wax paper. (Make sure your rolling pin is well-floured as well.) Press cookie cutters into the dough and press the pencil near the top to create a hole for the string. Transfer to a baking sheet with a spatula and bake for 2 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Let cool and then paint with acrylic paints. Course salt, sugar or glitter may be used to add extra sparkle to your ornaments. Cut ribbon to hand the ornament on the tree while the paint dries. Spray with clear acrylic spray let dry before hanging on your tree. Write your name on the back of the ornament with a permanent marker.
