How Do You Make Dough Ball Fish Bait?

You can never tell what a fish will bite on. Sometimes it’s one thing, sometimes it’s another. Sometimes they just aren’t biting–no matter what. When that happens, the determined fisherman (or fisherwoman) will try everything in their tackle box to tempt those fish to bite. This recipe for fish bait dough balls may be just the thing. Easy to make, easy to use…and when the fish are not biting-anything is worth a try! Assemble your ingredients. Mix all of the ingredients together. Knead the dough ball until the dough is smooth and stiff. Test by rolling a small piece into a neat ball. If it stays together, it will stay on your hook. If it doesn’t stay together, add more water a little at a time. Store dough ball in an airtight plastic bag and use it within a week or so. Freeze any extra and thaw it for a few hours before you go fishing.
