How Do You Make Dolls Out Of Clothes Pins?

Children have such great imaginations and can make a game out of almost anything! An easy, inexpensive and fun way to get that imagination going and give hours of fun is to make ‘little people’ out of clothes pins and scraps of fabric etc they find. Lay all your materials on a large work table.Dot different colours on a saucer and place in front of each child along with a few -at least 4- clothes pins. The materials for the clothes can be placed in the centre of the table. The pins can be completely painted in a skin colour or just the features. It will only take a few minutes for the paint to dry. During that time, the kids can be getting their outfits co-ordinated. Yarn can be used for hair, moustache or beard if they prefer Now comes the fun part – where the clothes are put on ! If you haven’t pre-cut fabric to size, the older kids can use blunt ended scissors to shape their clothes. It depends on how ‘into detail’ they are. They can also glue on buttons, sequins, beads, feathers etc.
