How Do You Make Delicious Taco Salad Dip?
My friends and family frequently request me to make this when an appetizer is needed for a function or picnic. Not only is it easy to prepare, but it’s delicious! This can either be make the morning of the event, or ideally, the evening before. It serves about ten people. In a 9X12 baking pan (or large deep dish pie pan), evenly spread the refried beans on the bottom. Sprinkle liberally with onion and garlic powder. Beat the cream cheese until it’s creamy. Add the sour cream and continue to beat until well mixed together. Spread on top of the refried beans. Spread the salsa on top of the cream cheese/sour cream mixture. Sprinkle the tomatoes on top. Add enough shredded lettuce to completely cover the salsa, but don’t pile it up. Top with shredded cheeses and refrigerate until it’s time to serve. Serve with hearty (thicker) tortilla chips.
