How Do You Make Delicious And Simple Stuffed Bell Peppers?
This is a classic and hearty dish that looks great on the plate. It is one of my husband’s favorite meals. This is a quick and easy meal that has so much flavor, your family will think you spent hours putting it together. Enjoy! Preheat oven to 350. Rinse the peppers and cut off the tops. Clean and drain. Place the peppers in a large pot of boiling water for 4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. In a sauce pan, cook the rice mix according to package directions. In a hot skillet, cook the ground meat, garlic and onion until the meat is cooked through and the onions are soft. Combine rice with the meat mixture in the skillet. Add the parmesan cheese and sliced mushrooms. Mix together well. Fill the bell peppers up with the stuffing mix and cook, covered, in the oven for 15 minutes. Top with low-fat cheddar or American cheese, if desired.
