How Do You Make Deli Meat And Cheese Pinwheels?
These pinwheels make great appetizers to bring to your holiday get-togethers and pot-lucks. They are easy and inexpensive to make and can be made last minute. Begin by placing the tortilla on a clean, flat surface. Burrito size works best, but can use the smaller ones. Spread a layer of cheese to within 1 inch of the tortilla edge. I find using the spreadable cheese in a jar like Cheese Whiz works wonderful. Chop green onions and scatter over surface of cheese as per your preference. Lay your favorite sliced deli meat like turkey or ham on top of the green onions, covering the entire surface of the cheese. You may use as many slices of deli meat as per your preference. Now roll up the tortilla with the fixings into a roll like a burrito. Cut the roll into 1 inch pinwheels. Arrange the pinwheels on a platter or party tray. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
