0

It may sound disgusting, but the carcasses of dead bugs make a great insect repellent for your home garden. The scent of dead insects repels harmful bugs such as potato beetles and cabbage loopers, and it attracts beneficial insects. Whatever the reason, dead insect spray is cheap and it works, so give it a try and you’ll be pleased with the results. Collect dead insects until you have at least 1/2 cup. If you live in a slug-infested area, slug carcasses make an especially effective dead insect bug repellent spray. Crush the insects with a mortar and pestle and place them in a disposable bucket or a large bowl. Add 2 to 3 cups of water. Strain the dead insect mixture through a folded cheesecloth or muslin, and dispose of the carcasses. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle. Spray plants with the dead inspect bug repellent spray as needed.
