How Do You Make Cute Tea Party Invitations?
Whether you’re organizing an upscale tea party for your friends or a sweet get-together for your daughter’s friends, create cute invitations to set the mood for the event. Design a card that’s as sweet as the treats your guests will enjoy. Choose a blank card in a light, bright color like pink, lavender or yellow, or create one by folding a piece of card stock in half and trimming so it will fit into a coordinating envelope. Leave the card in rectangle form, or trace a teapot or teacup cookie cutter along the fold and cut the shape out to create a shaped card (see Resources). Decorate the front of the card with a layer of patterned paper, a lace doily or decorative trim and accents like paper flowers. If desired, add a cute “You’re Invited” stamp along the bottom of the invitation (see Resources). Open the card and add the tea party details.
