A matchbook notepad is a convenient way to keep a small amount of paper neat and handy for jotting down numbers or three-word reminders. It is exactly what it sounds like; a notepad resembling a matchbook in size, shape and appearance, but filled with paper instead of matches. It can actually fool a lot of people because of its similarity to a real matchbook. You can make your own matchbook notepad quite easily out of household items. Step 3 Cut the rectangle out from the box. Step 4 Hold the rectangle vertically so that the long sides are on your left and right. Measure and draw a straight line across the rectangle 1/4 inch from the bottom. Draw another line 1/8 inch above the first. Continue drawing lines in this manner and order at 1-1/2inches, 1/8 inch and lastly another 1-1/2 inch box unti
