French doors are usually very hard to find curtains for. So, your best bet is to make them yourself. Step 1 Determine where you want the curtains. That is, do you want them across the whole door, or just covering the window portion, or something in between. Step 2 Using a yard stick and pencil, draw a line across the top, sides and bottom of the area you want to cover. This will be your window. Step 3 Measure the window across the top, across the bottom and then across the middle. Write down the largest of these measurements. Step 4 Measure the window from top to bottom, on the left side, then the middle and lastly on the right side. Write down the largest of these measurements.These two measurements are the size of your window.Do this on both windows.
