It is a wonderful dish to serve at a morning brunch or gathering too. It uses Corn Flakes and doesn’t fry the French Toast. Try serving it for special occasions like Christmas morning breakfast or for a sleep over breakfast. It is sure to impress! This recipe takes old breakfast favorites and turns it into a new fancy dish! In large bowl, Combine 2 large eggs (well beaten), 1/2 C. milk, 1/2 t. salt, 1/4 t. cinnamon, 1/2 t. pure Vanilla Extract and mix well. Dip 6 slices Texas style thick bread slices into the egg mixture to wet both sides. Next, dip wet slices in a large bowl of Cornflakes cereal and coat both sides of the bread well. Place slices on a well-greased cookie sheet. Drizzle 1/4 C. melted butter over the cereal coated bread slices. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. They will be golden brown.
