How Do You Make Creamy Butter Mints?
Butter mints are a great addition to your table when you are entertaining. They make a great centerpiece for your cookie or candy tray. Butter mints are very easy to make (and even easier to enjoy)! In large bowl, beat butter until creamy. With mixer on low, beat in sugar, cream and extract until creamy and smooth. Turn sugar mixture out onto a work surface lightly dusted with confectioners’ sugar; knead until smooth and smooth and satiny. Divide mixture into thirds: tint one pastel pink (2 drops red food coloring), one pastel green (2 drops of green food coloring) and leave remaining portion white.
