How Do You Make Cream Cheese Pinwheels?
This is a great recipe for a healthy snack or party finger food! This has been one of my most successful recipes at parties and people always beg me to make them when I go to their parties. It is quick and easy and is definitely a crowd favorite. Spread a layer of cream cheese spread on the tortilla. Make sure it is evenly spread, not to thick, not to thin. Sprinkle chili powder generously over the cream cheese covered tortilla. Now take two slices of Hickory Smoked Turkey and lay them on the tortilla so that the entire area is now covered with turkey. Add the shredded pepper jack cheese to the tortilla as desired. Slowly roll the tortilla up starting a one end until it looks tightly rolled. Carefully slice the tortilla into 1cm pieces and stick a tooth pick in it so that is goes through the pinwheel. The toothpicks make it easier for people to pick up and enjoy without getting cream cheese on their fingers. Serve with a bowl of salsa for an extra taste!!
