How Do You Make Crawfish, Broccoli And Rice Casserole?
Do you like your meals all in one pan or dish? If you like meal preparation to be fast and relatively simple, this is a good recipe to try. You can use shrimp if you don’t have crawfish. This is a tasty Cajun dish that will feed 8-10 people. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter a large corning dish or glass baking dish. Set this aside. Put the broccoli in a colander to thaw and to drain water. Cut each crawfish tail or shrimp tail in half. Melt butter in a large heavy pot. Over low heat, sauté the crawfish/shrimp tails for about 10 minutes and remove to a bowl. Set aside. Now add the onion, bell pepper, celery and broccoli to the pot with the butter in it. Sauté until the broccoli is tender and the veggies are clear. To this mixture add the soup and crawfish or shrimp. Heat well on med heat stirring constantly. Taste for seasoning and season to taste. I use Creole seasoning. A previously written article explains how to spice up foods the Cajun way and gives recipe for this seasoning.
