Children love using their hands to make things, and what better use of their hands than to make crafts? Here are three great craft ideas that have one thing in common – they all require the use of your children’s hands. These crafts are best suited for pre-school and elementary aged children. Begin with a piece of construction paper that is 8 1/2 inches by 11 inches in size. Pour a small amount of tempera paint into a pie tin or other container. Work with one hand at a time. Using a foam brush let your child paint their palm and fingertips with the washable tempera paint. Do not paint their thumb.
