How Do You Make Cough Syrup Out Of Whiskey?
When you make cough syrup out of whiskey, using a brand you like makes the medicine go down easier. Take 1 to 2 tablespoons of the syrup every 3 or 4 hours, depending on the severity of your cold, and store the mixture in a cabinet, not the fridge. Pour 1 cup of whiskey into a small saucepan. Add 1 cup of honey. Squeeze the two lemons and pour the juice into the pan. Turn the burner on to low heat and stir the contents thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Continuously stir the mixture while it heats to ensure it’s properly blended. Remove the pan from the stove when the syrup begins to bubble. Pour the syrup into a small Mason jar or another container where you can easily pour the medicine onto a spoon or dip your spoon into it.
