How Do You Make Colorful Crayon Egg Candles?
Making brightly colored crayon candles is a project appropriate for adults or children. Plan this activity on a day when you have a little time to spare, as the layers take time to set. These candles can be used for any festive occasion, especially where kids are involved. Empty out some eggs by carefully pricking a hole in the bottom with a strong needle or small nail. Prick a larger hole on the top and start blowing from the bottom of the egg over a container to catch the raw egg. It will take a little effort, but the egg should blow out without too much difficulty. Rinse them with cold running water and set aside to dry. Peel the paper off all the crayons you wish to use and break them into pieces in a clean metal can. Do each color of crayon in a separate can.
