How Do You Make Coleslaw Similar To KFC Coleslaw Recipe?
One of the most popular restaurant copycat recipes has to be the KFC coleslaw recipe. I have been making my own version for years and it is always requested at family dinners and potlucks. I make mine a bit differently. Using the pre-shredded cabbage with carrot already in it is a real time saver. I also substitute sour cream for the buttermilk and you can’t tell the difference and top it off with a little paprika for color. Be sure to double the recipe for potlucks and parties. For added color use one bag of green grated cabbage and one bag of red grated cabbage. Pour the shredded coleslaw mix in a large glass or plastic bowl. Set aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, salt, pepper, mayonnaise, milk, sour cream, white vinegar and lemon juice. Pour the coleslaw dressing over the coleslaw mix and gently toss together.
