How Do You Make Cold Cream Soap?
Cold cream soap is a simple, natural remedy for irritated skin that needs essential moisture to be healthy. Cold cream soap is especially useful for all skin types during the cold fall and winter months when cold winds and low temperatures sap the skin’s normal moisture. Cold cream soap also makes a wonderful gift, especially as part of a package including homemade shampoo, conditioner and moisturizing body lotion. Cold cream soap will keep for about two months from the day it is first used. Melt the glycerin soap in a heavy saucepan over low heat until is completely liquefied. Add the cold cream and heat until completely dissolved. Remove the saucepan from heat. Add the rose essential oil and stir with a wooden spoon or glass stirrer. Pour the soap into a bar soap mold and let it set for 6 hours.
