How Do You Make Clay Christmas Tree Ornaments?
Making Christmas tree ornaments is a great project you can do by yourself or with your kids. The ornaments make great keep sakes that you can use for years or give a gifts. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Put about a half-cup of corn starch in a small bowl. Dip the brush in the corn starch. Dust the inside of the cookie cutter liberally with corn starch. Remove the green clay and knead it until it’s soft and pliable. Use the rolling pin to roll the clay out on the cookie sheet to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. Press the cookie cutter firmly into the clay. Move it back a forth a little and then remove it. Reshape it with your fingers if needed. You can cut out as many ornaments as you have room for on your tray. Remove the red clay from the package and knead it until it’s soft and pliable. Use the rolling pin to roll the clay out to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. Press the end of the straw into the clay several times to make small red circles. Decorate your Christmas trees with
