How Do You Make Classic Meat Lasagna?
This is an all time classic Italian recipe. Like most, I love pasta dishes and lasagna is at the top of that list. Bonne appetite! Cook lasagna according to directions on package. Once cooked, drain and rinse with cool water and drain again. Heat nonstick skillet over medium heat. Then add olive oil, crumbled ground meat, seasoning salt, minced onion, and minced garlic. Cook together until lightly brown. Allow excess liquid to evaporate. Then add 1/2 cup water and let meat simmer on medium heat until most of the fluid has evaporated once again. Stir in chopped green peppers and half jar pasta sauce. Then let it simmer on medium-low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Then set aside. In a medium bowl mix cheddar and mozzarella cheese. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of corning ware, or baking pan. Then spread each lasagna noodle side by side. Then add meat sauce.
