How Do You Make Cinnamon Christmas Tree Ornaments?
Mmmm! Delicious-smelling cinnamon ornaments add cheer to any room. Mix up a batch and share them with your friends and family. Or keep them to yourself! Some things are too good to let go of. Mix 1 cup of ground cinnamon and 3/4 cup of apple sauce in a bowl. It should become a smooth ball of dough. Use your hands after it becomes less messy to mix. Add cinnamon if it is too wet and applesauce if it is too dry. Take some of the dough and put it between two pieces of wax paper. Roll it flat with the rolling pin. It should be about 1/4″ thick. Cut shapes out of the dough with cookie cutters. If you aren’t making the ornaments for Christmas, you can use other shapes, like hearts, letters or whatever else you can get your hands on. Use the straw to punch a hole near the top of the ornament for the ribbon to go through. Cover the cookie sheet with wax paper and place your ornaments on top. You can either bake them in the oven at 200 degrees Farenheit for about 90 minutes or let them air dry
