Christmas is a joyous time and a time for sending out cards to friends and loved ones. Make your cards extra special and memorable this year by creating 3D pop-up cards. You can choose from a wide variety of Christmas themes, objects and symbols. By making these yourself, you can customize them for each person and show them how much you care, plus it’s a fun craft to do alone or with kids. Think about the theme of your Christmas card and choose a color of card stock that will be appropriate. Fold the card stock sheet in half. Smooth the edge carefully making sure to create a strong crease. Using a stencil or freehand if you have the skills draw out your Christmas objects/symbols on colored construction paper. Carefully cut these out. Decorate the front with a couple symbols or shapes. Peel off the protective backing from a piece of 3D paper mounting tape. Stick it to the back of each object or shape.
