How Do You Make Chris Favorite Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies?

0

I have been making my son Chris’ favorite Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies since he was 13 years old and he still loves them today at age 36 years old and 6′ 5″. I have modified the original recipe over the years. These cookies are healthy and spicy and they are not loaded with sugar yet taste very good. There is still plenty of sweetness with the chocolate chips and applesauce. Yumm! Set Out Utensils: * 2 Mixing bowls * Measuring cups & spoons * 1 Coffee cup * Egg beater * 2 Cookie sheets In the larger mixing bowl, mix together dry ingredients: flour, oatmeal, chocolate chips and spices. Turn the oven on when starting with the liquid ingredients. In a smaller mixing bowl, beat the liquid ingredients 1-2 minutes than add to dry ingredients. Mix together. Have two cookie sheets ready and sprayed with canola oil. Drop half scoops of batter with an ice cream scoop onto the cookie sheet, shape and press with fork lightly. You’ll have a nicely rounded cookie. Bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes. M
