Halloween may be the time of year for creepy, crawly things, but chocolate marshmallow web crawlers won’t scare anybody. Chocolate web crawlers are so easy and fun to make that your kids will have a blast helping out, and the finished result is a sweet treat guaranteed to please. Put the semi sweet chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat them for 1 to 3 minutes, until the chocolate begins to melt. Stir in the vegetable oil and blend well. Use your hands to squeeze about six to eight miniature marshmallows in a round shape, and repeat with the remaining miniature marshmallows until you have several round spider bodies. Cut the licorice strings into 2-inch lengths. Roll the miniature marshmallow spider bodies in the melted chocolate and poke 4 licorice pieces into each side of the spider’s body. Place two round red cinnamon candy eyes on the top of each spider. Arrange the web crawlers attractively on a large platter and serve.
