How Do You Make Chocolate Bread Pudding For Easter?
This is an amazing bread pudding, full of my personal touches, lol! It is not just for Easter but it is definitely a special occasion dessert. Yummy, gooey and chocolate-y! Perfect for Easter dinner or whenever you want to make any occasion a celebration. Put cubed stale bread into large bowl. Melt both chocolates. Beat together sweetened condensed milk, regular milk, Bailey’s cream, Kahlua and melted chocolates. Add eggs one at a time. Pour custard over bread and allow to soak for 10 – 15 minutes. Stir in small semi-sweet chocolate chips. Meanwhile, in a skillet, roast the almonds over medium heat for about 8 minutes, until just brown. Add the butter, brown sugar and espresso powder. Simmer over low heat until butter is melted. Grease large glass baking dish. Pour half the bread custard mix into baking dish. Sprinkle with half the almond mixture. Add the rest of the bread and top with toasted almonds. Bake in a 350 degree, pre-heated oven for 35 -45 minutes. Let your bread pudding set
