Bone-in pieces tend to yield the tastiest results. Also, cut breast and thighs into two or three pieces for more flavor. Slice ginger and green onions into matchstick pieces. Mince garlic. Combine giner, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil and sherry into large bowl. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours if not overnight. BBQ chicken pieces on medium heat until slightly charred and cooked through.
