How Do You Make Childrens Lion Costumes?
For some reason, kids seem to be that much cuter when they are all dressed up as their favorite characters. For the next Halloween celebration or costume party, try creating an adorable lion’s costume for your child. This is surprisingly easy costume to make at home. Your child will love the idea of being a cuddly lion and can even reserve the costume for make-believe play at home. Purchase a toddler- or child-sized brown hooded sweat shirt if you do not already have one. To keep with the authenticity of a lion, turn the sweats inside out, so it looks as furry and fuzzy as possible. Take the hooded sweatshirt and create around the hood a furry mane that looks like a lion’s mane. This is done by cutting out strips of brown, yellow and orange felt or fur and securing it in strips around the entirety of the hood. Alternate your colors, so the variety makes the textures look more realistic. Your felt can be secured with either a fabric glue or with needle and thread. Add details to the bod
