How Do You Make Chicken In Creamy Chive Sauce?
This chicken dish is sure to become a family favorite. In fact you may even want to serve this to company or on special occasions. Though it looks and tastes as though it took you all day to make, you can actually have this meal ready in just over 30 minutes. Mix the garlic salt with the flour in a bowl. Add chicken to mixture and coat well, one piece at a time. Melt butter or margarine in frying pan over medium heat. Gently put in chicken and cook for five minutes on each side to brown.When the chicken is browned, remove from pan and set aside. Pour wine and chicken broth into pan and stir, making sure to include the browned pieces left from browning the chicken.Put chicken back into pan and cover. Simmer on low heat for ten minutes. Pour the cream and put the parsley into pan. Simmer till thickened, about five to six minutes. Remove chicken to serving platter, pour sauce over the chicken and sprinkle the chives on top. Serves four.
