How Do You Make Cheesy Chicken Quesadillas?
You want a twist on the ordinary cheese quesadilla, you can add some chicken in it to make it tasty and more filling. You can add any cheese you like, I just love the Colby/Monterrey Jack blend. Then when it comes to the tortilla, flour is usually used in quesadillas, but you can use any kind you like. Cook and season the chicken lightly then follow these simple steps. Heat up a large frying pan over medium high heat. Spread butter lightly on one side of the tortilla. Place the buttered side of the tortilla down into the pan. Add about 1/3 cup of shredded Colby/Monterrey Jack cheese blend on the tortilla. Add some cooked and chopped chicken on top of the cheese. Then apply another 1/3 cup of cheese over the chicken. Place the second buttered tortilla on top, buttered side up. Cook for about one to two minutes per side. You want to make sure the chicken warms up and the cheese melts.
