How Do You Make Cheesy Beef Taco Skillet?
Need a one skillet meal that the whole family will enjoy? Here’s a simple one that’s fairly healthy! Put the ground beef in the skillet (10″ or larger), and cover with onion and garlic powder. Turn on the burner to medium high heat, and break up the beef as you combine it with the seasonings. While the ground beef is cooking, cut the whole wheat tortillas into 1″ pieces. Open the can of the tomato soup. Get the salsa and cheese measured and ready, and drain and rinse the beans. Once the beef is well-browned, add the tortilla pieces, the can of tomato soup, the cup of salsa, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of cheese, and the can of beans. Stir together well, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and cover. Simmer 5 minutes. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top, and let it melt for a few minutes before serving.
