Need a fast and easy dessert? Try this cheese cake recipe made with Cool Whip. Assemble your ingredients: 1 ready made graham cracker crust 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar (I use powdered as it requires less beating and makes this recipe even quicker; I have made without ANY sugar, and no one notices the difference) 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip Fruit topping (optional) Blend cream cheese and sugar together until smooth with an electric mixer. Fold in Cool Whip and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into ready made crust (can use graham cracker or make your own pie crust). Chill at least 2 hours. I have not chilled at all and it still tastes good–if you start with ingredients right out of the freezer or refrigerator, it seems like you can get away with less time chilling. Add fruit topping (can of pie cherries, peaches, blueberries, etc.) or whatever topping you like. This is a big hit with all of the children and adults in my family.
