How Do You Make Charcoal From Scrap Items?

0

• Get a metal container, preferably with a lid. If not, use tin foil. • Fill the metal container up with the scraps. Suitable scraps include banana peels, paper, veggie matter, cardboard, etc., or whatever you want to make charcoal out of plus wood pieces. • Seal the container with its lid, or tin foil, and put 2 or 3 small holes in the lid for ventilation. • Put container over a fire/heat source, like a gas stove, or a campfire, or whatever. • The smoke coming out of the container should be a white/gray/black color. • When the smoke starts to die down, (as in like almost no smoke coming out or really think smoke is coming out), take container off of the fire/heat source, and let cool. After cooling, open the container and you have charcoal!
