How Do You Make Chamomile Linen Spray?
It’s easy to find chamomile flowers for linen spray because they’re available in grocery and health food store as tea bags. Chamomile is one of the most popular teas because it is said to have healing and calming properties, both when drunk in an infusion (tea) and applied to the skin. It has a pleasant herbal fragrance a bit like apples. To add a fresh smell to your linens follow these steps to make chamomile linen spray. Pour 2 cups of distilled water in a sterilized quart-sized canning jar. Distilled water can be found in the bottled water or the laundry supplies section of your grocery store. Add tea bags or ¾ cup loose chamomile tea. Add ¼ cup vodka or other colorless grain alcohol. Cover the jar and place the mixture in the sun for a few days. Strain the mixture through a coffee filter into a spray bottle and use as needed to spray linens. Keep in the refrigerator for two weeks.
