How Do You Make Cartoon Character Pinatas?
Piñatas are a traditional Mexican party accessory. They are usually filled with candy and then smashed open during the party by blindfolded party goers. While you can buy pre-made pinatas, it can be fun for you and your children to create your own. One type of piñata that you can choose to create is a cartoon character. Inflate your balloons. Each one should be inflated to the size you want a particular body part to be. For example, the torso will be larger than the head, while the head will be larger than the ears. Tape together your balloons to form a framework for the body of your piñata. Mix together in the bowl 2 cups of flour with 3 cups of water. Dip one of the strips of shredded newspaper into the bowl and drape it over one of the balloons. Repeat this process to cover the balloons with paper. Create multiple layers. Allow to dry.
