Fairies are a staple in fantasy stories and folktales. Many children find the idea of small, winged pixies to be irresistible, making fairy costumes especially popular among young ones. The most important component of a proper fairy costume is a set of sparkly wings worn securely above the shoulder blades. Break down the cardboard boxes until they can lie flat on the floor. Draw a wing design on the cardboard with a marker and cut it out with a hobby knife.
