How Do You Make Candle Tarts In Clamshell Molds?
These cute candle tarts are great for any decor. Pop one out, put in a decorative tart warmer with a tea light candle and enjoy the aromas throughout your home or office for hours. Create your own unique aromas by mixing 2 or 3 different fragrances. These make great gifts year round! Heat pan with 2″ of water on medium heat. Measure out 1.5 oz. of wax and put in pouring pot. Melt completely but do not overheat. Remove pouring pot from heat. Let cool for around 3-4 minutes before pouring into mold. Select your fragrance oil and add 1 tsp. to melted wax. Add 1-2 drops of liquid dye to melted wax. Stir completely till wax, oils and dye are all blended together. Pour the wax mixture from your pouring pot into your 6-part clamshell mold. Let cool completely. When cool, close lid and apply your own personal label. To use: Open lid and pop out one tart and put on tart warmer with a tea light candle.
