In this cold weather we are always looking for something warm to eat, but we do get tired of stew or soup. This recipe is a little different, but it is delicious. Or so my family tells me. 1 Large Cabbage 1 Pound Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage 6 Large Potatoes 1 Pound Bacon 1 Large Onion 2 Cups Water Cut bacon into small pieces, and fry in the bottom of the pot you have chosen to cook in. Cut the potatoes into 1/4 pieces, and place on top of the cooked bacon. Cut the sausage into bite size pieces and layer over the potatoes. Slice the onions and layer them over the sausage. Cut the cabbage into small sections and layer over the onions. Sprinkle the Tony Chachere’s seasoning over the layers in the pot. Add the 2 cups water. Cook this mixture on medium low to medium for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the potatoes are tender.
