How Do You Make Butterscotch Applesauce Cake?
This cake contains no oil- just applesauce! This makes it a very moist cake, but much healthier. It’s packed with yummy pecans and butterscotch chips. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and applesauce; mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; add to creamed mixture. Stir in raisins. Spread in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Sprinkle with chips, sugar and pecans. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
